Mandy’s duties include day-to-day management of the nonprofit including board support, budget management, grant writing, donor relations, public relations, media relations, social media outreach and strategic planning. She holds a BS in journalism and has worked in a variety of national communications and publishing roles in the nonprofit sector for more than 35 years, including 15 years with Goodwill Industries International (Rockville, MD) and the World Health Organization (Geneva, Switzerland). Mandy is also an author of historical and young adult fiction.
