Brenda is a two-time Emmy nominee and multi-SAG-Award-winning actress for her seminal role as Mary Alice Young, the dearly departed narrator on Desperate Housewives. Her career spans several decades in film and TV, with standout credits playing Sue Ellen Mischke on Seinfeld, Anne Ewing on Dallas, Lillian Luthor in Supergirl, Mrs. Walker on 13 Reasons Why, and Nadine on UnPrisoned. She obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in musical theatre, was a founding member of the Montana Shakespeare Company, and met her playwright/director husband, John Farmenesh-Bocca in a production of Titus Redux at the Kirk Douglas Theater. Their collaboration continues both on- and off-screen via productions of critically lauded short films like I Did Not Forget You, #3 Normandy Lane, Eduard Machado’s Lysistrata Unbound, and most recently A Deal Picked Just for You.
