A Durango native, Teresa was a nurse manager and educator at Mercy Regional Medical Center and was president of the Four Corners Perioperative Nursing Association. She is dedicated to mentoring and educating local healthcare students. Teresa was a past board member of the Four Corners Opera Society and Durango Friends of the Arts. She and her husband Doug are strong supporters of the FLC Theatre department and Music in the Mountains. Teresa has chaired the Special Events Committee since PlayFest’s inception and been a board member since 2019. She believes we need the arts in our community now more than ever. She is a proud member of the Osage Nation.
